Arsenal vs Bournemouth bet builder tips and predictions for the lunchtime kick-off on Saturday 4th May where Arsenal must win to keep themselves in the title race.
Perhaps the most straightforward selection of the weekend is Arsenal to come away with all three points. The table toppers need to win every game if they’re to have a chance of winning the league, with Man City sat just one point behind them with a game in hand. The Gunners have lost just one of their last 15 league matches and have won 25 of their 35 league matches played this season. The last time they faced Bournemouth, it was a convincing 0-4 win for Mikel Arteta’s side at The Vitality Stadium. I’m expecting something similar in this one.
Arsenal vs Bournemouth Predictions
Kai Havertz to score
In his 34 Premier League appearances this season, Kai Havertz has scored 12 goals for the Gunners, an average of just under one in three. He has been in fantastic form of late, with three goals in his last two games, including one in the North London Derby against Spurs, and four goals in the month of April. With Arsenal going all out in this one as they continue their title charge, I expect Havertz to have at least one or two chances, and I’m backing him to take one of them against Bournemouth in this one.
With Arsenal expected to dominate this one, I’m backing Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott to pick up a card. The 20-year-old has made 20 appearances for the Cherries this season, featuring in each of their last three matches. In that time, he has picked up two yellow cards, making 18 fouls in the process, an average just under one foil per game. As he comes up against an all-star Arsenal midriff in this one, containing the likes of Martin Odegaard and Declan Rice, he will be in a real battle, and I expect him to make a number of fouls. Should he start, he is good odds to pick up his third booking of the season.
