Aston Villa vs Wolves prediction and bet builder tips for the Premier League fixture on Saturday 30th March, kicking-off at 5.30pm this weekend.

Aston Villa are having an excellent season under Unai Emery, and will come into this derby match full of confidence with only one defeat in their last seven. Last time out was a 1-1 draw with West Ham, after they hammered Ajax 4-0 in the Europa Conference League. They currently sit fourth in the Premier League, and will be looking to make sure they keep that spot, which is very much up for grabs. Wolves will be disappointed with their last result, as they crashed out the FA Cup at the hands of Coventry City. I expect this one to be all guns blazing, but I think Villa will keep their cool and come out on top.

What a season Ollie Watkins is having. Not only is he right amongst the goals for the Villains, he’s chipping in with assists as well. His form has seen him feature in Gareth Southgate’s most recent England squad, where he started against Brazil and came on as a sub against Belgium. He has scored 16 in his 29 league appearances so far this season, getting himself 10 assists in that time also. He will be the main danger man again in this one, and I’m backing him to add to at least one of those tally’s against Wolves.

• Mario Lemina to be booked

Mario Lemina has made 25 appearances for Wolves so far this season, and isn’t shy when it comes to making a challenge. The Gabonese midfielder has picked up eight bookings throughout this campaign, making 32 fouls, an average of over one foul per game. The stats would suggest that he would make at least one foul in this one, and with it being a derby match I would think he could make one or two more. I think he’s great odds to see yellow here.
