I’m backing FA Cup favourites to progress past Bournemouth in this weekend’s quarter-final fixture. They haven’t had a good season by their standard and are fifth in the league, one point behind Chelsea in fourth. They have won just four of their last 10 in all competitions. However, this is the last tournament they are in with a chance of winning, and they will be determined to progress here and keep their hopes of silverware for this season alive. They are in for a tough tie against a strong Bournemouth here, but I think they’ll come out on top. I think Omar Marmoush and Antoine Semenyo will have one or more shots on target here. Marmoush has been brilliant since joining City. In his seven Premier League appearances, he has scored four goals, with six shots on target, an average of just under one per game. Semenyo has seven goals to his name in 28 Premier League appearances. He has had a very respectable 33 shots on target in that time, an average of over one per game. I think Bournemouth will have chances here, and as the stats back up, Semenyo has a good chance of having one or more shots on target here. Both players are good odds, and this boosts the bet to 16/1 with Bet365. Ryan Christie is the man we’re backing to pick up a booking here. The Scotland midfielder has been carded nine times in the Premier League this season, making a huge 42 fouls in his 28 league appearances, an average of 1.5 fouls per game. He has lost more duals and aerial battles than he has won, and it’ll be a difficult match for him here against a very strong Man City side. I expect him to make at least a couple of fouls here, and think he’s great odds to pick up his tenth booking of the season here.
