Brighton vs Brentford Predictions, Betting Tips and 14/1 Bet Builder

Brighton vs Brentford bet builder tips and match predictions for this Friday’s fixture in the Premier League with two players to have a shot on target and a player to be carded.
Betting odds:
- Brighton are 13/20 favourites at home
- The draw is 10/3
- A Brentford win on the road is priced at 7/2
Brighton have had a pretty mixed start to the season with six wins from 17. That said, they don’t lose many games, having lost just four while picking up seven points from draws. They are 10th in the league and are 2/5 for a top half finish and 11/4 to finish in the top six.
Brentford are just two points behind Brighton in 12th. They have won more games than the Seagulls, but also lost more. They are 4/1 to finish in the top half.
Brighton vs Brentford Prediction
We’re backing Brighton to win this one at home on Friday. The Seagulls come in to this one without a win in their last five, and need to bounce back so they can turn their sight back to the top six. Despite losing their last home fixture, their form at home is good and that is their only league defeat at the Amex this season. Brentford come into this one with just one win in five in all competitions, and they haven’t won on the road this season, picking up just one point away from home. Something’s got to give, and I think it’ll go in favour of Brighton.
Brighton vs Brentford Shots on Target Tips
We’re going for two players to get a shot on target – Danny Welbeck and Yoane Wissa. Welbeck has bagged six league goals this season, with 13 shots on target in 14 appearances, an average just shy of one per game. Wissa has notched nine goals in the league this season along with one in the Carabao Cup – a decent return! In the league, he has had 14 shots on target in 14 games, so an average of one per game. I think there will be chances for both teams here, so both have a great chance of having one or more shots on target.
Brighton vs Brentford Bookings Predictions
Ben Mee is the man we’re taking for a card in this one. The central defender has picked up just the one yellow card so far this season – last time out against Nottingham Forest. He has done that in just four appearances however, having been starved of game time so far this season. Despite that, I think he’s good odds to be carded again. The Bees reverted to a back four last time out, and should they stick with that formation, Mee should start the game. Given he was booked last time out, and that he will be up against some physical strikers here, I think there’s a chance he will pick up his second booking in two games, and his second of the season too.
Brighton vs Brentford Bet Builder Tip
- Brighton to win
- Danny welbeck over 0.5 shots on target
- Yoane Wissa over 0.5 shots on target
- Ben Mee to be booked
Betting odds: 14/1 with bet365.
