Aston Villa are having a decent season in the league and remain in the Champions League. They’re eighth in the league but just two outside the top four. They’re 12/1 for a top-four finish and 11/4 for top six.

We’re backing Villa to pick up all three points on the road in this one. The Villans are unbeaten in their last four matches in all competitions, coming into this one off the back of a 2-1 victory at home to Chelsea. Palace won last time out, but lost the game before that at home to Everton. I think Villa will continue their fine form here as they look to push themselves into the top six. We’re going for two players to have over 0.5 shots on target – Villa’s two new signings Marco Asensio and Marcus Rashford. Asensio bagged two goals last time out against Chelsea, and has had three shots on target in the three games since his arrival, giving him an average of one per game. Rashford has played three games for Villa and is yet to score, but has already chipped in with two assists. He will be well involved for Villa in attack, and I think with the chances he creates, there’s a great chance he will have one or more shots on target. Both players will be full of confidence following their display last time out, and are both good odds to have one or more shots on target. Jefferson Lerma is the man we’re backing for a booking in this one. The Palace midfielder has been booked five times this season, four times in the league and once in the Carabao Cup. He has made 21 fouls in his 21 league appearances this season, so he averages one foul per game. Villa’s midfield are strong and physical, so he will be forced to get stuck in here. I think he’s great odds to pick up his sixth booking of the season in this one.
