City have had a poor season by their standard, conceding the league to Liverpool. However, they’re still in the top four. They are favourites to lift the FA Cup this weekend. Palace have had a decent season and find themselves in 12^th in the league. It’s a big ask for them to win the cup against city this weekend.

I think Man City will be victorious in the FA Cup final this weekend. They will be determined to redeem themselves after losing in the final to city rivals Manchester United last season, and they’re strong favourites to do so against a bottom-half Crystal Palace side. City are unbeaten in their last 10 matches, with three draws and seven wins, including a 5-2 win over Palace just over a month ago. Palace also come into this in decent form with no defeats in their last five, but they conceded five goals in both games prior to that, including that heavy defeat to City. I think Pep Guardiola’s side will come out on top here. I do think both teams will score again here. With seven goals and both teams on the scoresheet last time out, the stats are strong for this one. Both teams have scored in five of the last six meetings between these two, with 28 goals scored in those six games. City have scored in eight of their last 10, with Palace also on the scoresheet of eight of their last 10. I think both teams to score is a good bet here, especially with it being a one off chance at silverware. I’m backing City’s Omar Marmoush to either score or assist here. He scored last time out against Crystal Palace in that 5-2 win, his last goal for the Sky Blues. He has six goals in 14 league appearances since joining City from Eintracht Frankfurt in January. I expect City to create a lot of chances, with Marmoush heavily involved, and I think he’s good odds to contribute with a goal, an assist, or both. Jefferson Lerma is the man we’re backing for a booking in the final. The Palace midfielder has nine Premier League bookings to his name this season in  31 appearances, also picking up one card in the Carabao Cup. He has made 35 fouls in the league this season, giving him an average of over one foul per game. He was booked last time out against Spurs, and also picked up a card in that heavy defeat to City last month. I think there’s a great chance he’ll pick up a booking here.
