- Liverpool are 4/9 favourites for the win
- The draw is 15/4
- If you fancy Everton, they are 6/1 for the win at home
Everton vs Liverpool Prediction – Liverpool to win
Liverpool are seven points clear at the top of the Premier League and have had a dream first half of the season under new manager Arne Slot. They come into this one off the back of arguably the game of the season – a 3-3 draw with Newcastle at St James’ Park. They are unbeaten in their last 17 matches in all competitions, and have lost one of their last six against city rivals Everton. I think Liverpool will win this one and extend their lead at the top this weekend.Prediction 2 – Mo Salah to score anytime
Is Mo Salah the best player in the world at the minute? Maybe. The Liverpool star is in unbelievable form again this season, scoring 13 goals in his 14 league appearances so far this season. He has also scored once in the Champions League and once in the Carabao Cup. Liverpool will have plenty of chances here and this one will be a fiery encounter from the off. Salah will have more than one chance too, and I expect he will get on the scoresheet again.Prediction 3 – Gakpo to have a shot on target
Cody Gakpo has also been right in amongst it this season, and we’re backing him to have over 0.5 shots on target against Everton this weekend. Again, Liverpool will have plenty of chances, and should Gakpo start through the middle of the front three, he should have a number of shots. He has scored two in the league, two in the Champions League and four in the Carabao Cup this season. In the league, he has had five shots on target, and I think he’s good odds to add another this weekend.Prediction 4 – Doucoure to be carded
We’re backing one player for a card this weekend – Everton’s Abdoulaye Doucoure. The midfielder is yet to be carded this season, but has made 17 fouls in his 12 league appearances, an average of well over one per game. In this derby fixture, tackles will be flying in from the off with bragging rights of the city of Liverpool on the line. He was booked seven times last season, and I think Saturday could be the time for him to pick up his first card of this season.Everton vs Liverpool Bet Builder Tip
