Leicester vs Sheffield Wednesday Bet Builder Tip Reasons
Leicester to win to nil: I’m backing Leicester to win this one at home, and to boost the odds, I’ve gone for Leicester to win to nil. Sheffield Wednesday are in real danger, and there’s a very low mood around the club going in to the new season. They’re favourites to be relegated from the Championship, and an opening weekend fixture against a newly relegated side is the last thing they’ll want. I think Leicester will win this one comfortably, and I can’t see Wednesday having any reply for the Foxes. Jordan Ayew to have 1+ shot on target: Jordan Ayew is getting on, but he’s still a threat at 33 years old. The Ghanaian international managed five Premier League goals in 31 appearances last season. He averaged just over one shot per game in the top flight last term, and I expect that to be higher this season in the Championship. Leicester will have a lot of the ball and create a lot of chances, so I think there’s a good chance of him having at least one shot on target. Patson Daka to score anytime: I’ve gone for Patson Daka to score here. The forward managed just one Premier League goal in 23 appearances last season, with seven in 20 in the Championship the season before. At 26, this will be a big season for him in terms of goals, so he will need to hit the ground running. As I said, Leicester will create chances, so he will have the opportunity; it just comes down to whether he can put them away. Taking him to score adds value to the bet builder, boosting it to 9/1. Barry Bannan to be carded: We’ve backed Sheffield Wednesday captain Barry Bannan to be booked in this one. He was carded nine times in the Championship last season, with 11 the season prior. In his 10 seasons at Wednesday, he has been carded more then seven times in the league in nine of them, with his highest number of cards – 14 – coming in 2018-19. He cares deeply for the club, and wears his heart on his sleeve, plays with passion and aggression, and doesn’t back out of a challenge. Through this difficult period, he will be one of the men trying to pull them out. I think he’s good odds to be carded here.Get a £10 Free Bet when you bet on Leicester vs Sheff Wed
