Liverpool are absolutely flying this season, and I think they will comfortably defeat their city rivals Everton who have struggled this season. The Toffees have specifically struggled at home and have been a bit better on the road, however, Liverpool have won each of their three home games so far this league campaign, and I can’t see that changing. Remarkably, Everton have won just two of the last 30, yes 30 games between the two, with Liverpool winning three of the last five. I expect Jurgen Klopp’s side to take all three points here.

 

James Tarkowski to be booked

A derby game is always likely to be fiery, and this one will be no different. Everton will be looking to get one over on their Merseyside rivals, who have been excellent so far this season, and their players will be right on top of Klopp’s men. James Tarkowski has picked up one booking so far this season, in the Carabao Cup against Aston Villa, and I’m backing him to pick up another here. Coming up against Liverpool’s front line will be a difficult task, and with the pace they possess, I think he will be forced into making a number of fouls. I think this is a good bet.

 

Mo Salah to score

Mo Salah is still the top man for the Anfield side, with six goals so far this season, five in the Premier League and one in the Europa League. Last season, he bagged 19 Premier League goals, and I’m backing him to beat that this season and continue on his way to that in this one. The Egyptian international has a strong record against Everton, having found the back of the net on three occasions in his last four league appearances against the Toffees. I think this is an excellent addition to this bet builder.
