Man United vs Aston Villa bet builder tips for this Sunday’s fixture in the Premier League where Villa need a win to stand of chance of getting into the Champions League for next season.
Betting odds
- Villa are 8/11 favourites for the win away from home.
- The draw is 16/5.
- United are also 16/5 for the win at home.
Villa have had a good season and can still finish in the top four. Chelsea, Newcastle, and Villa are all level on points. They’re 5/1 for a top-four finish.
United have had a terrible season and come into this one off the back of defeat in the Europa League final against Spurs on Thursday evening. They’re 16th in the league, and can finish no higher than 14th.

Man United vs Aston Villa Predictions
I’m backing Villa to beat United at Old Trafford this weekend as the battle for the top five goes into the final day of the season. Villa need to get a result and hope results elsewhere go their way, and I think they’ll go all out from the first whistle to give themselves the best chance of finishing in the top five. Villa have won eight of their last 10 league matches, while United have won only one of their last 10 in the league, with six defeats, three draws and one win in that time. I think Villa will come out on top here.
Morgan Rogers has had a great season for Villa, and I think he’s good odds to either score or assist here. He has eight goals and 10 assists to his name this season, in 36 Premier League appearances. He has also scored four and assisted two in the Champions League. Villa will have plenty of the ball and create a good amount of chances here, and I think Rogers, whose last goal came away from home to PSG in the Champions League, has a great chance of chipping in with another goal or assist in this one.
I think Bruno Fernandes will have at least one shot on target here. He has 17 goals to his name in all competitions this season, with eight goals in his 35 Premier League appearances. He has had 28 shots on target in the league this season, giving him an average not far shy of one per game. United will create chances here, and I think Bruno will have at least one shot on target.
I think John McGinn is good odds to pick up a card here. He has picked up eight yellow cards this season, with seven in the league and one in the Champions League. In the league, he has made 43 fouls in his 33 appearances this season, an average of well over one foul per game. A very passionate and aggressive player, I think McGinn will make at least one foul in this one and has a great chance of being carded for the ninth time this campaign.
