Newcastle have had a good first half of the season and come into this fixture in fifth place, five points behind Forest in fourth. They are 9/2 to finish in the top four and 5/6 to finish in the top six.

United have had a terrible season and find themselves way down the league in 14^th place. They are only seven points away from sixth however, and could turn their season around. They are 7/2 to finish in the top six.

We’re backing Newcastle to get the win at Old Trafford. They are slight favourites to take all three points against a struggling United side, and for good reason. Newcastle have won their last four games in all competitions, three in the league and one in the cup, scoring four on two occasions and three in the other two games. United have lost each of their last four Premier League matches, failing to score in three of them, including last time out against relegation battlers Wolves. I think Newcastle will come out on top here.

Alexander Isak is always a threat for Newcastle. For me, he’s one of the best all-round strikers in Europe, and he’s having a good season. The Swede has bagged 11 goals in his 16 league matches, with four assists in the process. In those 16 games, he has had 50 shots with 23 being on target, an average of above one per game. I think he’s a dead cert for a shot on target here.

We’ve gone for two players to be carded. Two midfielders – Casemiro and Bruno Guimaraes. Both players are no stranger to a yellow card and both get stuck in at every opportunity. Casemiro has been carded just once in the league this season, but has been shown a yellow in two of his five appearances in the Europa League. Guimaraes has been carded seven times this season, three times in the league, twice in the Champions League and twice in the Carabao Cup. I think both are great offs and have a good chance of being carded here.
