Nottingham Forest vs Chelsea 10/1 Bet Builder Tip, Predictions and Betting Tips

Nottingham Forest vs Chelsea bet builder tips and predictions for the Premier League match on Saturday 11th May where both teams still have everything to play for. Forest are not safe yet despite a much needed win against Sheffield United last weekend, but can secure safety with a win here, depending on Luton’s result. They have a superior goal difference to Luton so a win here effectively keeps them up.

Nottm Forest vs Chelsea Predictions

  • Chelsea to win
  • Cole Palmer to score
  • Ryan Yates to be booked

Chelsea to win

Chelsea haven’t had the best of seasons by their standards. That said, they have picked up greatly of late, going unbeaten in nine of their last 10 Premier League fixtures, two of them emphatic wins – a 6-0 win over Chelsea and a 5-0 win over West Ham. They are now up to 7th in the league with a chance of getting 6th, and maybe even 5th, should they better the results of Newcastle and Spurs in their remaining league matches. Forest have won just eight of their 36 league matches so far this season and are still fighting for their Premier League status. I’m backing Chelsea to come out with all three points in this one.

Cole Palmer to score

Cole Palmer is the second highest scorer in the Premier League, with 21 goals in his 31 league matches so far this season, four behind top scorer Erling Haaland. He has had 44 shots on target in those 31 league matches and has a shooting accuracy of 45%. Forest have conceded in 18 of their last 20 fixtures in all competitions, and I think they’ll be on the receiving end of a harsh score line here with Chelsea bang in form. The Blues create a lot of chances, and I think Cole Palmer will take at least one of them in this one.

Ryan Yates to be booked

I’m backing Ryan Yates to be carded this weekend against Chelsea. Coming up against the likes of Moises Caicedo and Connor Gallagher won’t be easy for the 26-year-old, and with his style of play, I think he is excellent odds to be shown yellow. So far this season, he has picked up six yellow cards in his 33 Premier League appearances, making 51 fouls in the process. He was booked last time out against Chelsea in a 1-0 win for his side, and I think he could easily pick up another card here.
