Nottm Forest vs Man City Predictions

We’re backing City to get the win away from home this weekend and leapfrog Nottingham Forest into third place. City have won six of their last 10 league matches, while Forest have had a bit of a slump of late and are winless in three in the league, losing to Fulham and Newcastle before drawing at home to Arsenal last time out. I think City will heap more pressure on Forest’s top four chances here with a win. That said, I do think both teams will get themselves on the scoresheet. It’ll be a fiery game from the off, with these two neck and neck in the league. Forest have bagged 44 league goals this season, while City have 53 to their name in the league. City have scored in 18 of their last 20 in all competitions, and Forest have scored in 16 of their last 20. I think both teams to score is a good bet here. We’ve gone for Omar Marmoush to have one or more shots on target. The Egyptian has five league appearances for City with three goals in that time. He’s a dangerous player, and I expect him to be involved in a lot of City’s attacks.  In those five appearances, he has had five shots on target, so an average of one per game. I think he’s good odds for at least one shot on target in this one. Ryan Yates is the man we’re backing for a yellow card here. The Forest midfielder has picked up seven bookings in the league this season, in 24 appearances. He has made 41 fouls, giving him an average of almost two fouls per game. He’s a passionate player, and he never shy’s away from a tackle. He will be in for a tough afternoon here, and I think he’s great odds to pick up another card.
