Aston Villa find themselves in a strong position in the league, despite having not won a league game in 2024 so far. In his 22 league appearances so far this season, the Scotsman has been yellow carded on six occasions, making 30 fouls in the process, an average of almost 1.5 per game. I expect this one to be a physical encounter as Villa look to pick up the point on the road, and I think McGinn is good odds for a booking.

Ollie Watkins is having a fine season under Unai Emery and has bagged himself 10 goals in his 22 league appearances so far this season. As well as that, he has picked up eight assists, making this selection reliably informed by the stats. I’m backing Villa to win this one and think they will have a number of chances and, when they do, Watkins is always there or there about. I think this selection adds real value to this bet builder.
