Sheffield United to win

I’m backing the Blades this weekend as they welcome Sean Dyche’s Everton to Bramall Lane. There’s not a lot to go on here as both teams have started their campaigns poorly, with United exiting the League Cup at the hands of Lincoln City during the week, while Everton scraped past Doncaster Rovers. However, the hosts almost got a positive result against Champions Man City in their last league game, as an 88^th minute winner from Rodri shattered their hopes of a point.

It was the same in the game before that, with an 89^th minute Forest winner denying them of a point, and in their league opener, it was a one goal deficit as they lost to Crystal Palace. Everton have also lost all three of their league games so far, but have suffered a heavy defeat away to Aston Villa, 0-4.

I think the home advantage will help the Blades here, and I think they’ll get a win here in a game where something’s got to give.

 

Both teams to score

I don’t think it’ll be easier for United, however. Both teams will be desperate to pick up their first Premier League point of the season, and they’ll both definitely see each other as beatable. I think both teams will be at it from the off, and I think there’s goals in this one for both teams. Everton are yet to score in the league this season, with United scoring just two, but I think this one is set up perfectly for goals, and taking both teams to score adds real value to this bet builder.
