Leicester to win

Although Leicester have been poor recently and have lost their last three, I’m backing them to win this one against bottom of the table Southampton. Before their three game losing streak, the Foxes defeated Spurs 4-1 in an outstanding performance. The Saints are four points adrift at the bottom of the Premier League, and were victims of a shock cup exit when Grimsby Town knocked them out of the FA Cup during the week. I think Leicester will pile on the misery for Southampton this weekend and pick up a victory that could take them above Nottingham Forest and into 13^th in the league.

 

Under three goals in the match

Despite thinking Leicester will get a goal or two to win this fixture, I don’t think there will be more than three goals in the match. In three of Leicester seven wins this season there has been less than three goals in the match, and for Southampton, four of their last six Premier League games have had less than three goals. I don’t expect this one to be a very exciting match up between two teams in poor form, and I think this is an excellent selection for this bet builder.

 

Both teams to receive a card

I’m backing both teams to receive a card in this one. I think it’ll be a very physical match up, especially with Southampton battling at the bottom of the table and trying to pick up vital points. I think there will be a real midfield battle in this one, and I think there will be a lot of fouls. Southampton have picked up at least one card in nine of their last 10 fixtures in all competitions, with Leicester having at least one player carded in seven of their last 10 games. I think this selection has a great chance of coming in here.
