Despite Sunderland’s strong start to the season, I can’t see past table-topping Arsenal to win this one away at the Stadium of Light. With eight wins from their opening 10 league matches, and having won their last 10 in all competitions, I think they will come out on top again here to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League.

I’m perhaps sticking my neck on the line here, backing Arsenal to concede a goal. They haven’t conceded in their last eight matches, with their last goal against coming against Newcastle at the end of September. However, that has to end at some point, and I think Sunderland could be the team to do it. The Black Cats have scored 12 in 10 in the league, and have scored in seven of their last 10. They’ve scored in each of their home matches this season, and I think they’ll at least score at the weekend.
Wilson Isidor over 0.5 shots on target (17/20)
Wilson Isidor has had a decent season so far for Sunderland. He has bagged four goals in 10 league matches this season, with 22 shots in that time, seven of which have been on target. They might have slightly fewer opportunities in front of goal, but if he gets a chance, I think he’s good odds for at least one shot on target.
ALTERNATIVE BET – Wilson Isidor to score @ 9/2.
He’s scored four goals this season, three of which have been at home, so 9/2 is actually good odds for him to get on the scoresheet here. It might be more of an outside bet, but it would increase the odds of this bet builder to 40/1.
Reinildo Mandava to be carded (3/1)
I’m backing Sunderland left back Reinildo Mandava for a card here at odds of 3/1. He has been carded three times this season – two yellows and one red – in just seven Premier League outings. He’s made eight fouls in that time, an average of more than one per game. The odds for this one are very generous, and I think there’s a good chance of him being carded again.
