Tottenham to win

Spurs are coming in to this one on the back of a 4-1 hammering at the hands of Leicester City, and will be looking to bounce back with a bang in this one as they welcome West Ham. Before that thumping defeat, Spurs won each of their last three in all competitions, defeating Manchester City and Fulham in the league, and winning 0-3 away from home to Preston North End in the FA Cup. I think Spurs will bounce back in this one and pick up all three points.

Harry Kane to score

Harry Kane is the second top scorer in the Premier League this season behind only Erling Haaland who has bagged an outstanding 25 already. Kane has clocked up and impressive 17 goals however, and I expect him to get on the score sheet again in this one. West Ham have conceded in nine of their last 10 Premier League fixtures, and Kane has scored five goals in Spurs’ last seven matches in the league. Spurs will create plenty of chances here and I think Kane will convert at least one of them.

Cristian Romero to be booked

Cristian Romero is a hard hitting midfielder who is partial to a foul or two as well as a yellow card or two. The 24-year-old Argentinian has collected five yellow cards in the Premier League so far this season, and I’m backing him to pick up his sixth of the season in this fixture against West Ham. I expect Spurs to be on the front foot for the majority of this one, which means West Ham will be playing on the counter with pace breaking through the midfield and into attack. I think this will mean Romero is forced into making a number of fouls as he looks to stop the attack, and there’s a good chance of him entering the referees book once again in this one.
