23/1 Wolves vs Chelsea Bet Builder Tip and Pundits Predictions
Wolves vs Chelsea bet builder tip for today’s Premier League fixture due to kick off at 2pm. There have been some confirmed Covid cases amongst the Chelsea camp but the match is still scheduled as things stand.
Wolves got their first win in five matches last time out, beating Brighton 1-0 but it is defensively where they have been impressive. In those five matches they have only conceded two goals – once against Manchester City and once against Liverpool. For a Chelsea side who struggled to break down Everton in midweek, and with players missing due to Covid, this won’t be easy for Tuchel’s side today.
Chelsea’s 1-1 draw with Everton at the weekend meant they fell four points behind Manchester City at the top of the table and with City playing Newcastle today, Chelsea can’t afford to drop more points. Their last away game was the 3-2 defeat against West Ham and they have been conceding goals of late, but Wolves have been struggling to score them.
Lawro’s Wolves vs Chelsea Prediction
Wolves do not score many, but they don’t concede many either. They will make life difficult for Chelsea, just as they have against Liverpool and Manchester City in the past few weeks.
But both of those sides still took three points against Wolves, and I think Chelsea will do the same, despite their wobble in the past few weeks.
Even if they don’t play well, Thomas Tuchel’s side usually still find a way to win. They are still right in the mix in the title race too, and things will click again for them soon, I am sure of it.
Lawro’s prediction: 0-2
