101/1 Saturday’s Bookings Betting Tips: Four Players to be Booked on Saturday 29th October
Another weekend of top-flight action means another bookings acca from me. Disappointing last weekend with none landing, it just goes to show how difficult these can be to predict; the odds tells you that!
However, I’ve focussed my attention on the Premier League this weekend and have picked out 4 players who could find themselves in the referees’ notebook. Good luck if you follow!
Weekend Bookings Tips
- Jefferson Lerma (Bournemouth) – 2/1
- Ruben Neves (Wolves) – 13/8
- Duje Caleta-Car (Southampton) – 10/3
- John McGinn (Aston Villa) – 2/1
Odds – 101/1 with Bet365

Jefferson Lerma (Bournemouth) to be carded vs Tottenham
My first selection is Jefferson Lerma to be carded against Spurs. He duly obliged for us when I tipped him up to be carded against Brentford at the beginning of the month and since found himself carded again last time out against West Ham.
I think he’s cracking value at 2/1 to be carded against Spurs here. Harry Kane will continue to drop deep for them and look to start attacks, therefore I think Lerma will be tasked with stopping their star man and will find himself booked in the process.
Ruben Neves (Wolves) to be carded vs Brentford
Another man who’s no stranger to a booking, my next selection is Wolves captain Ruben Neves.
Already booked 5 times this season, his price at 13/8 reflects the likelihood of him picking up his 6th against Brentford. Both sides come into this off the back of 4-0 drubbings last time out, so I’m expecting to be a close-knit, feisty affair which will find Neves in the referee’s notebook once more.
Duje Caleta-Car (Southampton) to be carded vs Crystal Palace
Next up is Southampton’s Croatian defender, Duje Caleta-Car.
Now he’s yet to be booked in his first 4 appearances for the Saints, but I think that changes this weekend as he will face Palace’s firepower in Wilfried Zaha, Eberechi Eze and Odsonne Edouard.
He’s the value selection of my 4 this weekend, and I hope he duly obliges and picks up his first Premier League booking.
John McGinn (Aston Villa) to be carded vs Newcastle
Finally, my last selection is Villa’s powerhouse midfielder, John McGinn.
Another who’s used to picking up bookings, having been carded 20 times in the last two seasons, I think he’s good value to get his 4th of the term here.
Villa will have been delighted following their win after the sacking of Steven Gerrard last weekend, but they face a tough task away at the high-flying Geordies, who find themselves occupying the final Champions League spot in the table at the moment.
I think there will be a proper midfield battle here, and McGinn is the one for me who is most likely to pick up a booking.
