Roma to beat Genoa

Royal Antwerp to beat Cercle Brugge
Accumulator Odds – 16/1 with 888Sport.
Spanish La Liga fixtures feature in two of the five selections for this Sunday Accumulator with decent home teams Athletic Bilbao and Villarreal hosting opposition much lower in the league table. In two of the other games, bottom teams Cercle Brugge and Paderborn in the Belgian and German top flights respectively welcome useful opponents while in Italy, Roma will hope to win a first Serie A game this year when travelling to Genoa. Odds of approximately 16/1 will be available for the successful outcome of these tips.
After playing four competitive matches on the road and losing none, Athletic Bilbao now return to the Sam Mames Stadium having lost just one game at the venue all season when beaten 1-0 by Valencia. The Basque team have also collected ten points with just one goal conceded from their last four La Liga home games ahead of hosting this fixture with Celta Vigo. The visitors have won their two latest Copa Del Rey games on away soil but a 3-1 victory at Villarreal is the only time they have avoided defeat in seven previous league games on the road. A home win is predicted.
A priority in the coming weeks for Espanyol will be collecting some points and move from the foot of La Liga table, but the Barcelona based team have lost their last four league games on the road against mostly difficult opposition. Amid a busy season to date, a 2-0 loss at fellow relegation contenders Leganes later last month was a setback for Espanyol and they now visit Villarreal with the hosts unbeaten in competitive action since the beginning of December. The Yellow Submarine have also lost just once this season on home turf and could earn a fourth consecutive La Liga victory.
It has not been an ideal start to 2020 for Roma with two successive Serie A home defeats incurred but then winning at Parma in midweek Coppa Italia action. The Roman team had enjoyed some decent form towards the end of last year with thirteen points earned from their final five matches and they will hope for a return to winning ways in league action when visiting Genoa. The hosts have won just one league fixture since late October when needing a late winner to claim three recent points against Sassuolo, and they are facing a fourth loss in five Serie A home matches.
It was a difficult first half of the Bundesliga campaign for Paderborn as they currently sit at the foot of the table, although two victories during December did offer some hope for the coming weeks. Yet avoiding defeat in just three of nine home matches is a concern ahead of the visit of a Bayer Leverkusen team which has won four of five previous competitive games on the road. A 2-0 loss at Koln, when reduced to nine players at 0-0, is the only recent blemish on away soil and Bayer could claim another three points on their travels.
Having earned just three victories during the first half of the Belgian First Division campaign, Cercle Brugge are marooned at the foot of the league table and have lost four of their last five league fixtures. Cercle have failed to score more than twice in any league game this term and now host a Royal Antwerp team which is unbeaten in competitive action since mid-November. Currently fourth-placed in the table, Royal have conceded just one goal in five previous league outings and could seal all three points from this game.
