Reasons for this Weekend’s BTTS Tips

For this weekend, the opening games in the European Nations Cup are staged with Denmark, Sweden, Belgium and France all featured in this Saturday BTTS Accumulator. Action from the EFL Cup opening round is also included with Bolton facing a Bradford team involved in a few entertaining pre-season games while both Luton and Norwich will aim to extend their useful friendly-action form in front of goal. Odds of approximately 9/1 are likely to be available for the successful outcome of these tips.

Denmark vs Belgium: both teams to score

Ahead of this 2020 Nations Cup fixture, Denmark are proving to be quite a capable outfit with no competitive defeats suffered over ninety minutes since October 2016. The Danes have also netted eleven goals during their last three games on home soil with Belgium their latest visitors. There can be no denying the current strength of the Belgian national team with ten wins recorded from as many games during 2020 Euro qualifying. They also netted at least twice per game during that campaign although a 5-2 2018 Nations Cup loss against Switzerland is proof of some vulnerability.

Sweden vs France: both teams to score

Current World Champions France begin their 2020 Nations Cup campaign with hopes of extending their decent recent form into this competition. The French team won their 2020 Euro qualifying group when losing just one game and winning eight matches while scoring 25 goals. A visit to Sweden now awaits with the hosts also proving worthy qualifiers for the Euros losing just one match when beaten 3-0 in Spain. That game was the only occasion in which the Swedes failed to find the net in Group F.

Bolton vs Bradford: both teams to score

Having been relegated from League One last season following a campaign of great upheaval, Bolton now host this EFL Cup tie having experienced a mixed pre-season. A 3-0 home win was secured against Accrington Stanley but eight goals were conceded in defeats by Crewe and Wigan with Bradford now visiting the University Of Bolton Stadium. The Bantams have featured in some high-scoring recent friendlies with both teams scoring in all three matches. A 2-1 loss at Huddersfield contained the least number of goals.

Luton vs Norwich: both teams to score

Having secured their Championship status last season by scoring in eight of their nine games following resumption and losing just one match, Luton won both pre-season games via 3-0 scorelines ahead of hosting this EFL Cup tie. Visitors Norwich suffered a demoralising exit from the Premier League last term, but they scored at least twice in winning four recent friendly matches including a 3-2 victory against German second-tier team Darmstadt. The Canaries may now have restored some confidence in front of goal.
