Weekend BTTS Tips

Both teams to score

Reasons for this Weekend’s BTTS Tips

League One leaders Rotherham have netted in each of their games this year and they now face an Accrington Stanley team which has also become reliable in front of goal. That clash feature in this BTTS Accumulator alongside three fixtures from League Two. Decent home team Plymouth host a much-improved Cambridge while rejuvenated Grimsby visit top-of-the-table Swindon. The final selection involves Walsall and Port Vale with both outfits recently among the goals.

Accrington Stanley vs Rotherham Betting Tip

A very late winner helped Accrington Stanley earn a 4-3 home victory against Lincoln last weekend which allowed John Coleman’s players to claim their tenth goal in three League One fixtures this month. Stanley have also failed to find the net in just one league game since late November. However, hosting Rotherham will be no easy task with the visitors netting in every away match from the beginning of October onwards. The Millers have also scored three times in four of their away games from early November onwards.

Plymouth vs Cambridge Betting Tip

Despite needing a late equaliser to secure a 1-1 midweek draw at struggling Macclesfield, Plymouth remain serious automatic promotion contenders and they have failed to find the net in just one game this year. Argyle have also scored in each of their League Two games at Home Park since the beginning of October and now host a Cambridge team that has won all four matches this month. Revitalised since the departure of Colin Calderwood as manager, United netted twice in three of those four victories.

Swindon vs Grimsby Betting Tip

The arrival of Ian Holloway as manager last month has certainly generated a positive spirit at Grimsby with the Mariners netting in each of their six previous League Two fixtures and with at least two goals scored in five of those matches. A visit to league leaders Swindon now awaits with the hosts proving to be a potent team at the County Ground in recent months. Maximum points have been collected from eight of their nine previous league games at the venue with at least two goals netted in the latter three of those contests.

Walsall vs Port Vale Betting Tip

A recent upsurge in form has allowed Port Vale to enter the top seven places of the League Two table with four victories earned from five previous matches. Vale have also failed to net in just one league game since mid-December and they now face a Walsall team which can be unpredictable, as proved when beating Northampton 3-2 last weekend after being 2-0 adrift at half-time. The Saddlers have also failed to net in only two of their previous fifteen league games with both teams scoring in the majority of those fixtures.
