Reasons for Today’s BTTS Tips

Millwall and Brentford have both been among the goals in recent weeks and their Championship clash features in this BTTS Accumulator alongside improving Barnsley’s visit to inconsistent Swansea. The final two selections feature League Two action with promotion hopefuls Colchester and Crewe hosting decent opposition in Exeter and Scunthorpe respectively. Odds of approximately 10/1 are likely to be available for the successful outcome of these tips.

Millwall vs Brentford Betting Tip – BTTS

A 1-1 draw earned at Cardiff on Boxing Day ensured that the Millwall extended a sequence of scoring in every Championship match since mid-September. The Lions will now be seeking a fourth win in five home matches when hosting a Brentford outfit which has netted in all five fixtures this month following a 7-0 home victory against Luton at the end of November. Bryan Mbuemo has been First Goalscorer in four recent league fixtures as the Bees seek a fourth victory during December.

Swansea vs Barnsley Betting Tip – BTTS

Three victories in their last six Championship fixtures and just one defeat suffered has offered some real hope for Barnsley in their aim of avoiding relegation. The Tykes have also failed to net in just one league match since late September and they now visit a Swansea outfit which has found the net in ten of eleven prior league fixtures. Although the Swans can be unreliable in defence, Andre Ayew is normally trustworthy in front of goal with five already netted this month.

Colchester vs Exeter Betting Tip – BTTS

A 3-1 Boxing Day League Two victory at Leyton Orient confirmed Colchester as one of the in-form teams in League Two action and they have netted in each league game since late October. Seeking a fourth successive home win in league action, the U’s now host an Exeter team unbeaten in League Two since the beginning of November. City have scored at least once in each league game this month but found the net on three occasions when hosting both Northampton and Walsall. The visitors will also be aiming to seal a third consecutive away win in their league campaign.

Crewe vs Scunthorpe Betting Tip – BTTS

Prior to their Boxing Day home clash with Walsall, Scunthorpe were unbeaten in nine League Two outings and had netted in eight of those fixtures. Yet the Iron were thwarted several times by the visiting goalkeeper during a 2-0 defeat against the improving Saddlers, and they now face a difficult afternoon at Crewe with the hosts aiming for a response to a 3-1 loss at Salford. That reversal was a first league defeat since mid-November for the Railwaymen and they have scored five goals on two occasions during that time period.
