Colchester vs Morecambe – Colchester Win

Colchester sit just outside a very competitive play-off zone in League Two and a win here could lift them into the top seven. John McGreal’s side have been very inconsistent although they’ve been largly reliable at home. Admittedly, they’ve had a fairly easy start to life in Essex this season having only faced sides 13th or below on their own patch and Morecambe have been struggling on their travels. The hosts have suffered just a single reverse at the Weston Homes Community Stadium with Cambridge surprisingly taking all three points back, however they’ve won three of their four games against sides in the bottom seven. The Shrimps sit bottom of the table and have struggled all season and have picked up just four points on their travels so far. They’ve now conceded twelve times in their last four games and League Two’s worst defence could be suceptible on Saturday afternoon.

Port Vale vs Stevenage – Port Vale Win

Port Vale have one of the best home records in the division and are unbeaten in Burslem this season. They’ve picked up 14 points from a possible 18 and are incredibly difficult to beat in front of their own fans. John Askey’s side were beaten at Moss Rose last time out, but they’re far more effective here and they be able to get back to winning ways. Although Morecambe are the only side that they have beaten by more than a single goal margin, they have been masters of edging out opponents and Stevenage might suffer a similar fate here. Stevenage do have a decent record at this ground and they did win last weekend, however Mark Sampson’s side could find Vale too tough here. They’ve failed to net in four of their six away games and they will have to be at their very best here.

Bradford vs Crawley – Both Teams to Score? Yes

Crawley remain the only side in League Two to have scored in every single game this season and they’ll be looking to continue that record when they make the long journey to West Yorkshire. They’ve been in mixed form recently with just one win in their last five although they were victorious seven days ago. Away from home, they’re yet to keep a clean sheet and they may find it tough to keep a lively Bradford side at arms length. Each of their last five matches have featured three or more goals and although it is tempting to go Over 2.5 Goals in this one, BTTS may be a safer option. Bradford have crept up to third in recent weeks although they have conceded in each of their last three home fixtures. Another lively 90 minutes is in store here.
