Wales vs Croatia – Over 2.5 Goals

We begin our Over 2.5 Goals accumulator with a trip to Cardiff. Wales drew 1-1 with Slovakia on Thursday and although their Euro 2020 hopes are not completely dashed, they absolutely need to take three points from this fixture. Giggs’ men cannot afford to sit back and they must go for the jugular. There wasn’t an awful between these sides when they met earlier in the year with Croatia running out 2-1 winners and the home fans will fancy their side’s chances. The visitors are fairly unreliable on the road although they did smash four past Slovakia fairly recently. They will take heart from their straightforward 3-0 victory over Hungary on Thursday with the form of Dynamo Zagreb’s Bruno Petkovic a real positive.

 

Poland vs North Macedonia – Over 2.5 Goals

Poland made light work of Latvia on Thursday night and perhaps they opted to take their foot off the gas during the latter stages of the contest. Robert Lewandowski just cannot stop scoring and he netted another hat-trick for his country in Riga. The Poles are back at home and they face a tough test against North Macedonia. The visitors are always a side worth keeping an eye on although they are far weaker on their travels. A win for the visitors would bring them within two points of the leaders and it’s imperative that Poland don’t take a casual approach to this fixture. Poland stuck four past Israel without reply and although North Macedonia won’t be as easy to breach, they should be able to get on the scoresheet. Watch out for Napoli’s Eljif Elmas, who has been in terrific form for his country.

 

Slovenia vs Austria – Over 2.5 Goals

Despite losing to North Macedonia on Thursday night, Slovenia’s hopes of qualification have not been completely extinguished. Their strong home form is part of the reason why they are still in the hunt for a spot at Euro 2020. They’ve scored five times in their last two matches here which includes a surprise 2-0 victory over Poland and an entertaining 3-2 win against Israel. With the exception of their 0-0 draw in Warsaw, Austria’s away games have been fairly enjoyable. Strangely, they stuck four past North Macedonia, however they conceded four to Israel. They are quite an unpredictable side, although they do have plenty of firepower and came back from a one goal deficit to beat Israel 3-1 on Thursday night.

 

Atletico MG vs Gremio – Over 2.5 Goals

We head to Brazil for our final accumulator selection on Sunday. The second half of Atletico MG’s season has been fairly messy and it’s now 11 games since they last kept a clean sheet. They’ve also scored in each of their last five games and only five Serie A teams have netted more times than the hosts. They’ve scored four and conceded six in their last three home games. The leaky hosts are coming up against a decent away outfit with Gremio playing well on the road. The visitors did lose at Fluminense (2-1) although they had previous netted seven times against Santos and Cruzeiro. Although it only ended 1-0 when they last met, the three previous games at this stadium between these sides have each produced at least three goals.
