There’s another fascinating fixture list on Sunday and we’ve picked out four matches in which we’re expecting a hatful of goals.
These games are taking place across the divisions and they should serve up plenty of entertainment on Saturday afternoon.

High-flying Leicester City are in terrific form and will be hoping to continue their winning run with a victory over beleaguered Everton on Sunday. The Foxes are scoring for fun and they’ve netted at least two goals in seven of their last eight PL games. At home, four of their last five matches have featured three or more goals and this could go the same way. They’re facing an Everton side who are leaking goals left, right and centre and the pressure is mounting on Marco Silva. The Toffees have found the net in three of their last four away games, however, they’ve conceded eight times in that run and the hosts will be looking to take full advantage of that. Two of the last three meetings have ended 2-1 either way and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see that score-line appear again on Sunday.
Lazio have a been a good source of goals for Overs backers this season although Inzaghi’s men left it late last weekend at Sampdoria. At home, they’re far more likely to rack up a few goals and they’ve scored 15 in their last four outings at Stadio Olimpico. They’ve scored exactly four in three of their last four matches here and Udinese will have to be at their defensive best in order to prevent them doing the same here. Earlier in the campaign, the visitors conceded seven to Atalanta and there have also been seven goals featured in their last two away trips. They have failed to score in their last two trips to this stadium, although they are producing enough in the final third to suggest that they could trouble the rampant hosts on Sunday.
Bundesliga pacesetters Monchengladbach are one of the season’s surprise packages and the leaders have plenty of firepower in their squad. They will be aiming to bounce back from a surprise defeat to Union Berlin and they will see this as the perfect opportunity to back a few goals. They hit Werder Bremen for three in their last outing here and have scored 12 in their last three home matches. Freiburg are not shy of finding the net themselves and they have scored in all but one of their away fixtures so far. They’ve also only kept a single clean sheet on their travels and they should play their part in an entertaining 90 minutes. Two of the last three fixtures between these sides have ended 3-1 and it wouldn’t be a shock to see at least four goals here.
Benfica B have been largely reliable at home this season, although they somehow lost 1-3 to Chaves three weeks ago. They followed it up with a 1-1 draw and they could struggle to keep a lively Mafra outfit off the score-sheet here. The visitors are above their hosts and have netted eight goals in their last four matches. They’ve scored and conceded in each of their last three away matches and have found the net in each of their last seven games. It’s no clean sheet in six matches so quotes of 21/20 for Over 2.5 Goals seem very generous. Benfica B are the second lowest goalscorers in the division, yet they have netted in all but one of their matches here and I expect that pattern to continue on Sunday.
