Tonight’s Football Tips for the EFL Trophy and a 14/1 Accumulator
The International break is upon us but we still have the EFL Trophy and National League taking place this week. For tonight’s win accumulator tip, Jack has picked out five matches from the evening’s EFL Cup fixtures.
The bet for tonight comes from William Hill because of their brand new ‘acca freedom’ offer which means you can either choose to boost your odds or get acca insurance for your bet today.
How it works:
1. Add 3 or more qualifying selections to your betting slip to trigger your Bet Boost in rewards.
2. Add 5 or more qualifying selections to trigger your acca insurance in rewards.
3. Click on ‘Rewards available to apply’.
4. Choose either ‘Boost’ or ‘Insurance’.
- Boost – Select to boost the price of your acca of 3 or more selections, up to £20.
- Insurance – Select to insure your acca of 5 or more selections (each selection 1/5 (1.2) or bigger) so if just one selection loses, we’ll refund your stake as a free bet up to £20.
5. Add your stake and place your bet.
Insurance cannot be claimed on bets including any handicap, total points or enhanced markets (including flash odds, enhanced odds, super odds).
Tonight’s EFL Trophy Tips
There are five selections for our EFL Trophy betting tips tonight and the action gets underway at 5.30pm with MK Dons away at Stevenage. Both sides have had poor starts to the season but League One MK Dons can get the win here.
Next up we have Peterborough at home to Fulham U21s at 6pm. The Premier League side’s youngsters were beaten 2-0 by Cambridge in this competition last time out and Peterborough are coming into the game off the back of a decent start to the season, and a 3-1 win at the weekend.
The third of our EFL Trophy tips for tonight is Burton to beat Cambridge at odds of 10/11. It has been a poor start for Burton in League One but they are scoring plenty of goals.
Next up we are off to The Stadium of Light for one of the shortest odds selections on the coupon and it’s Sunderland to beat Carlisle at 1/2. The Black Cats should have no trouble against their League Two opposition here having beaten Aston Villa U21’s 8-1 last time out in this competition.
The last leg of tonight’s accumulator is fro Fleetwood to inflict another defeat on Aston Villa’s youngsters. Fleetwood beat Carlise 3-1 away from home in the last round and if Villa U21’s play anything like they did against Sunderland then they will pick up another heavy defeat here.
MK Dons to beat Stevenage
Peterborough to beat Fulham U21
Burton to beat Cambridge
Fleetwood to beat Aston Villa U21
Sunderland to beat Carlisle
