Bundesliga Betting Tips – The 5 Best Bets for Saturday’s Matches

Bundesliga betting tips

There is just one game left of the Bundesliga season and Bayern Munich are already confirmed as Champions, however, the European places are still to be sorted out at the top.

In the relegation zone, Paderborn are already confirmed as relegated and Werder Bremen are just two points behind the play-off position. Dusseldorf currently occupies the relegation play-off place so one of those teams will be relegated this weekend, the other will go into the play-off.

See this weekend’s football predictions for 5 of the Bundesliga matches below and which betting tip you should place on each game.

Bayer Leverkusen vs Mainz

Betting tip – Bayer Leverkusen win and both teams to score: 6/5 with Paddy Power.

Bayer Leverkusen fell to a disappointing 2-0 defeat away to Hertha Berlin last game which saw their Champions League aspirations take a big hit. They now need to win their final game at home to Mainz and hope Borussia Monchengladbach lose or draw their final game to Hertha Berlin. Mainz secured their top-flight status for another season with two impressive back to back wins against Borussia Dortmund and Werder Bremen, with no added pressure in this game expect them to take their foot off the gas. This is a must-win game for Bayer Leverkusen so expect them to go full throttle and with Monchengladbach having a superior goal difference, expect them to try to rack up a few goals which could prove useful if Monchengladbach and Hertha Berlin end in a draw. This will subsequently leave spaces at the back for Bayer Leverkusen giving Mainz opportunities to score.

Augsburg vs RB Leipzig

Betting tip – Timo Werner to score 2 or more: 13/8 with Bet365.

Although falling to a disappointing home defeat to Borussia Dortmund last time out, RB Leipzig have all but secured qualification into next season’s Champions League due to their superior goal difference. Augsburg’s draw away to Fortuna Dusseldorf saw them secure their place in the Bundesliga next season. With nothing to really play for, expect this to be an open end to end game producing a lot of goals. For Leipzig this game will be all about Timo Werner’s farewell, with his move to Chelsea completed Werner will be playing his final game for Leipzig on Saturday and he will desperately want to cap off his fine Leipzig career with a flurry of goals. Having netted 26 goals this season, back to him to add to his tally here.

Freiburg vs Schalke

Betting tip – Freiburg to score over 1.5 goals: 4/6 with Bet365.

Freiburg’s 3-1 defeat at Bayern Munich meant they will miss out on European football next season, nevertheless, it’s still been a fantastic season for Christian Streich’s men. Freiburg’s solid home form throughout the season has been one of the main reasons for their success this season, they have won 8 out of 16 matches, drawing 2 and losing 6. Expect them to finish off the season with a comfortable home win against Schalke. Schalke fans will be certainly pleased the season is now coming to an end, there 4-1 defeat to Wolfsburg saw them extend their winless run in the Bundesliga to 15 games. It’s been an absolutely atrocious end to the season for David Wagner and his side, they will be looking to get this fixture over with as quickly as possible and start afresh next season. Freiburg’s home form will tell in this match and they should be able to score a couple of goals in the process.

Borussia Dortmund vs Hoffenheim

Betting tip – Over 3.5 goals: 10/11 with Bet365.

Borussia Dortmund secured the best of the rest status with a superb 2 nill away win at RB Leipzig last game, on the other hand, Hoffenheim secured a Europa League qualification spot with a 4-0 thumping of Union Berlin. With nothing to play for this game should be a thriller, expect both sides to play freely and openly, with plenty of chances coming at both ends. Dortmund have scored an impressive 46 goals in 16 home games, whilst Hoffenheim have bagged 23 times in 16 away games.  With the likes of Haaland and Jadon Sancho on the pitch expect plenty of goals.

Eintracht Frankfurt vs Paderborn

Betting tip – Frankfurt -1 handicap: 5/6 with Paddy Power.

This season has been a big lesson for relegated Paderborn, they would have learned a lot from their time in the Bundesliga and the levels needed to be at the top. Their away form has been woeful all season only picking up 2 wins out of a possible 16, expect them to sign out with another loss to the strong finishing Frankfurt. Adi Hütter would be content with the season they have had but would expect big improvements next season, they have finished off the season well with 2 wins coming in their last 3 games. Frankfurt will be looking to sign off with a win here to solidify a top-half finish in 9th place.
