Rochdale vs Lincoln Betting Tips

Rochdale suffered just their second defeat of the campaign at the weekend, but it was a heavy one, and that could be potentially damaging for Brian Barry-Murphy’s side. Dale were battered by a rampant Posh side, and goalkeeper Robert Sanchez came in for some heavy criticism after the game. Prior to that, they’d been incredibly hard to beat, and had held Blackpool and Doncaster to draws at this ground, with only Sunderland edging past them.

Dale are a fairly young side, and Barry-Murphy is a relatively novice coach, so it remains to be seen how they react to that set-back. However, they’ve played some really easy-on-the-eye stuff so far, and their form on the road suggests that they could have enough to take something from this encounter. They are priced up as the outsiders for this tie, and they look a little too big at the odds.

Lincoln’s form has nosedived, and the Imps haven’t been helped by the departure of the Cowleys. They were defeated at Wycombe, before inexplicably slipping up at home to Bristol Rovers at the weekend. Their early season form has enable them to take up a decent position in the table despite their current blip. The Imps need to get their mojo back, but they are being priced up as if they are still managed by the Cowleys.

There is undoubtedly a case to be made for the draw here, but Rochdale looks a little too big, so backing them on the Draw No Bet market could be the way to go.
