World Cup 2022 Qualifying Tips for Today Including Albania vs England & Israel vs Scotland

After more shock results in World Cup 2022 qualifying last night, there is more action tonight including both England and Scotland looking to build on good results from their opening matches. England beat San Marino and Scotland picked up a point thanks to a 2-2 draw against Austria. They face a difficult away trip to Israel tonight and a win would put them in a strong early position in their group. Elsewhere, Germany play Romania and that bet is also covered in our betting tips for the qualifiers today.  

Albania vs England

Harry Kane to Score Anytime – 3/4 with Bet Victor Having been rested for England’s trip to San Marino, Harry Kane should be in line for a start here. Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Ollie Watkins bagged three goals between them but Harry Kane will no doubt start this more challenging match-up. Albania may be a significant step up from San Marino but England are still heavy favourites here. Kane will have penalty duties to boost his goal-scoring appeal as well as a share of direct free-kicks if James Ward-Prowse is left out.  

Israel vs Scotland

Che Adams to Score Anytime – 13/5 with Paddy Power Adams recently made his international debut for Scotland as the Scots claimed a point in a 2-2 draw with Austria. There is certainly a feel-good feeling among the current crop of players after sealing their place at the Euros, something which Adams could profit from. His goal-scoring form for Southampton has picked up of late to further boost his appeal. The last time these two sides met Israel won 1-0 in a closely-fought contest. Not much is expected to separate these two sides this time around but Israel’s 2-0 home defeat to Denmark was far from the ideal start. At just under 3/1, you could do worse than to back Adams.  

Romania vs Germany

Kai Havertz to Score Anytime – 17/10 with William Hill Havertz’s has begun to discover his club form with Thomas Tuchel integrating the German into the first-team picture in recent games. Havertz had already scored for Germany during the course of this season in a 3-3 draw with Switzerland back in October. The former Bayer Leverkusen man added to his international tally with a goal in Germany’s most recent 3-0 win over Iceland Romania had to salvage a late win against North Macedonia after conceding two late goals. In recent internationals, Romania have conceded to Northern Ireland (1), Belarus (3), Austria (1), Norway (4), and Iceland (2). A clean sheet against Germany appears highly unlikely.
