Portsmouth vs Oxford Tip – Over 2.5 Goals

On current form, Oxford are worth including in an Over 2.5 Goals accumulator every single week. The Yellows were in cup action in midweek and booked their place in the next round of the competition, but there shouldn’t be too much fatigue on display here. They make the trip to Fratton Park and should be full of confidence after scoring 19 goals in their last six League One games and winning three on the spin. The Pompey defence isn’t one of the leakiest in the division, but it is likely to come under mounting pressure in this fixture. The hosts displayed their soft underbelly last weekend by giving up a two-goal lead to Bristol Rovers and if they defend like that here, it could be curtains for Kenny Jackett. They may have kept three clean sheets at home recently, but they haven’t faced much in the way of opposition, and this will prove to be a real test for their back-line.

Sunderland vs Southend Tip – Over 2.5 Goals

Sunderland fans were delighted to see Phil Parkinson instruct his side to keep attacking during their recent rout of Tranmere at the Stadium of Light and the Black Cats will be hungry for more on Saturday afternoon. They were left frustrated seven days ago as they were unable to find a way past a dogged and determined Shrewsbury defence, but they should find Southend’s back-line far more accomodating. Sol Campbell’s side looked like they had more about them last weekend although that was largely in the final third. They’ve now conceded 18 times in their last 15 matches and although the former Macclesfield manager is likely to be working on defensive shape, it’s going to difficult to keep the hosts off the scoresheet. At the SOL, Sunderland will be urged forward by their expectant fans and they could easily grab the three goals themselves.

Bradford vs Exeter Tip – Over 2.5 Goals

Backing Over 2.5 Goals is Bradford games has been rather profitable this season with the Bantams regularly scoring and conceding in League Two. Despite their relatively lofty position, they have kept just four clean sheets in 15 matches so far and haven’t kept the opposition off the scoresheet since September 14th. Each of their last three home matches have featured exactly three goals whilst only two matches at Valley Parade this season have featured fewer than three goals. Exeter arrive off the back of a morale boosting 4-0 victory in the Devon derby and they will be hungry for more. The reintroduction of Nicky Law made the difference and Matt Taylor’s side will arrive in West Yorkshire full of confidence. They opened the season with back-to-back clean sheets although they’ve conceded in every away game since August 17th. They should play their part here.

Stockport vs Woking Tip – Over 2.5 Goals

Stockport’s form has been fairly woeful of late, although they did pick up a decent 2-2 draw in midweek at Bromley. They are now unbeaten in four matches and will fancy their chances of getting the better of Woking. They’ve won five of eight at home, although they’ve only kept two clean sheets in that run of games. Only Torquay and Maidenhead (somehow!) have kept them off the scoresheet at Edgeley Park this season and they will fancy their chances of racking up a couple of goals here. They gave Bromley plenty of chances to win the game on Tuesday night and that may lead to Woking finding a way back into the game. The Cards are slipping down the table and haven’t won since the end of August. On the road, they’ve conceded five goals in their last two matches and look very shaky at the back. They’ve kept just one clean sheet on the road so far and are liable to concede at least a couple here.
