Croatia are yet to be beaten in this World Cup, and I expect them to remain undefeated as they take on Belgium in this one. Belgium have had a poor tournament by their standards, only narrowly defeating Canada 1-0 and surprisingly losing 2-0 to Morocco last time out. Croatia will win the group with a win in this one and they’ll be fighting to do exactly that. The Croats scored four goals last time out against Canada and drew their opening match against Morocco. I expect them to continue their fine goal scoring form from the last game in this fixture and I think they’ll come away with all three points.

 

Both teams to score

Despite thinking Croatia will win this game, I expect it to be much closer than their 4-1 win against Canada. We all know the capabilities of Belgium and this one be an easy game for Croatia by any sense of the imagination. Both teams will be quick out the blocks and create plenty of chances throughout.
