Ghana vs Portugal Bet Builder Betting Tips and Predictions

World Cup 2022 betting tips

Ghana vs Portugal bet builder tips and predictions for the World Cup Group H clash on Thursday 24th November, with kick-off scheduled for 4pm UK time.

Portugal have been the selection of a lot of tipsters to win the 2022 World Cup in what is likely to be Cristiano Ronaldo’s last chance to win the competition with his country as a player. Diogo Jota is a big miss for them though and they have a tricky group to content with so cannot afford any slip-ups against Ghana.

The African side are 17/2 to add to the list of World Cup shocks so far and beat Portugal, with the draw priced at 19/5 and Portugal are the 2/5 favourites to win the match.

For our bet builder tip, we have picked out three predictions forGhana vs Portugal and you can see them below. A £10 bet would return £70 if this one is a winner and using the bet365 sign-up offer for the World Cup will get you £50 in free bets too.

Portugal to win

Portugal are one team I expect to go far in the World Cup. With this more than likely being Cristiano Ronaldo’s last run on the world’s biggest stage, he and his side will be determined to defy the odds (14/1 to win the tournament) and go all the way. They’ve had a decent run in of late, winning four of their last six outings and scoring four goals with no reply in three of those matches. Ghana will be in for an extremely tough 90 minutes in this one, and I don’t think they’ll have enough to stop the Portuguese from claiming all thee points.

Cristiano Ronaldo to score

With all the headlines about Cristiano Ronaldo’s Manchester United controversy surrounding him at the moment, you just know he will do his talking on the field and silence his critics. Although he has fall out of favour, and out of friendship with many at Manchester United, the man who is one of the greatest of all time will have prepared correctly for this tournament and be gunning for glory once more for his country. His last goals for Portugal came in a Nations League match in June, where he scored a four minute brace against Switzerland, and I expect him to have a number of chances here and convert at least one.

Tariq Lamptey to be booked

Tariq Lamptey is a very energetic, quick and brave full back who has done reasonably well in his time for Brighton and Hove Albion. This season, he has made 11 appearances for the Seasiders, all as a substitute, and has picked up one yellow card, averaging 1.44 fouls per game which is a fair amount for a player who hasn’t started a game. I think he will have his work cut out here against a very quick and physical Portugal side, and Joao Felix, Ronaldo and Bernardo Silva, he will likely make a number of fouls. Should he start this fixture, and I think he will, I wouldn’t be surprised to see him enter the referee’s book.
