9/1 Wales vs England Bet Builder Tip and Predictions

World Cup betting tips

Wales vs England bet builder tip and predictions for the last round of Group B matches. England are all but through but Wales need a win and some luck.

England are expected to make a couple of changes for this game with Jordan Henderson coming into the midfield and Kyle Walker into the defence. The bookies make them strong favourites to win the match still, at odds of 1/2. The bets odds for Wales to beat England are 38/5 and you’ll get 17/5 for the draw.

For our Wales vs England bet builder tip, we have picked out three predictions you can see them below. A £10 bet would return £85 if this one is a winner and using the bet365 sign-up offer for the World Cup will get you £50 in free bets too.

England to win

It’s the Battle of Britain in the final World Cup group game for England and Wales. It’s fair to say England have enjoyed a better run in the competition than Wales have, with a win and a draw, and u expect them to win this one too. The Three Lions won emphatically on matchday one with a 6-2 win over Iran. Wales were beaten last time out by Iran and drew their opener against the USA. I expect them to exit the competition with a defeat in this one against a England side who are hoping to go all the way.

Both teams to score

Although I expect England to win, I think this one will be an extremely lively encounter as two neighbouring countries go head to head on the worlds biggest stage. Wales failed to score last time out, however they will be right up for this one and I think they’ll be able to create a good number of chances. Gareth Southgate has been critical of the England defence, and I don’t think they will be able to keep Wales out in this one. I expect a high scoring game with both teams getting themselves on the scoresheet.

Ethan Ampadu to be booked

Ethan Ampadu is a physical presence for Wales and will not be shy of a tackle in this one in a match that will be fiercely contested between two rivals. The Spezia midfielder has collected three yellow cards in his 10 Serie A appearances so far this season, averaging 1.62 fouls per game,  and I wouldn’t be surprised if he picks up a booking in this one in what will be a very tough game in the middle of the park against a strong England midfield.
