Chelsea to win

Chelsea put on a good performance against Liverpool in their opening game last weekend, and after that 1-1 draw with Jurgen Klopp’s side, I’m backing them to get their first win on the board in this one against West Ham. They have recruited well this summer and I’m expecting a huge difference from last season’s terrible display by their standards, which is already evident on last week’s showing. The Hammers picked up a point in their opening game against Bournemouth, But I don’t think they’ll be fortunate against Chelsea this weekend.

 

Nicolas Jackson to score anytime

Nicolas Jackson arrived at Stamford Bridge in the summer from Villarreal, where he had an impressive campaign in La Liga last season. In his 13 starts and 10 sub appearances last season, the Senegal international who was born in The Gambia, scored nine goals last season. He looked dangerous last weekend against Liverpool and I’m backing him to get his first Premier League goal this weekend against West Ham.

 

Emerson to be booked

Dos Santos Emerson Palmieri will be in for a difficult afternoon against the likes of Nicolas Jackson and the tricky, pacy winger in Raheem Sterling. The full-back picked up a yellow card in last weekend’s opening Premier League fixture against Bournemouth, and I think he is excellent odds to get another in this one in what will be a fast-paced encounter at the London Stadium. He picked up two yellow cards in all of his Premier League outings last season. Will he match that after just two games? I think there’s a good chance, and that this is a strong selection for the bet builder.
