Oxford vs Rochdale – Over 2.5 Goals

Oxford have been excellent for Overs backers in recent weeks with Karl Robinson’s side prolific in front of goal. 79% of their matches this season have featured three or more goals and it has paid out in each of their last five League One games. Although their defence is fairly sound, it’s their play in the final third which has caught the eye and they’ve scored 14 goals in their last five home matches. They’ve netted exactly three goals in each of their last three at the Kassam with decent sides such as Doncaster and Coventry finding them too lively. Rochdale have also been scoring a few goals themselves with the North West outfit having scored seven times in their last three matches. Brian Barry-Murphy’s side will arrive here full of confidence although they don’t keep many clean sheets. 86% of their away games have featured three or more goals and there have been 18 goals alone in their last four away trips.

Peterborough vs Coventry – Over 2.5 Goals

P’Boro are a gift to Over 2.5 Goals backers and Posh delivered yet again in midweek. It has now landed in 71% of their matches this season and 86% of their home games. They have goals in abundance and the likes of Ivan Toney, Mo Eisa and Marcus Maddison have been prolific in recent weeks. Even without Louis Reed in midweek, they still managed to pick up a convincing victory over Accrington and they will be expected to score a few in this tie. They’ve netted 14 times in their last five matches and even though Coventry’s aren’t the leakiest side in the division, they could struggle to keep them out. The Sky Blues ended their barren spell with a 2-1 victory over Fleetwood in midweek but they’ve often struggled against high-scoring sides. They conceded three times to Oxford and four times to Rotherham whilst Pompey stuck three past them at Fratton Park. With 50% of their away games featuring three or more goals, it’s worth including this contest.

Crawley vs Swindon – Over 2.5 Goals

Crawley still remain the only side to have found the net in every single League Two encounter so far and the Red Devils will be looking to continue that impressive record when they take on Swindon on Saturday afternoon. 67% of their matches have featured three or more goals and although the goals of Bez Lubala have dried up in recent weeks, the goals have been shared around. They’ve netted exactly two goals in each of their last three home matches and have given the locals plenty to cheer. There have been 21 goals in their last seven games and although playing against Swindon will be tough, they are liable to get on the score-sheet. 57% of Swindon’s away matches have featured three or more goals so far and there are some concerns about their recent form on the road. They’ve shipped five goals in their last two with BTTS landing in five of their last six. Richie Wellen’s side are impressive going forward and the likes of Eoin Doyle are always likely to get chances.

Leyton Orient vs Carlisle – Over 2.5 Goals

Leyton Orient are another team who continue to deliver on the Over 2.5 Goals front. The O’s are now operating under new management, although the coaching staff have remained the same. 11 of their 15 games so far have featured three or more goals and the fans have certainly not been leaving East London feeling short changed. They come off the back of a 4-0 loss and a 4-0 victory, which highlights their inconsistencies this campaign. In fact, their last three matches have contained 12 goals and they’ve netted six times in their last two matches here. Carlisle are sleepwalking towards relegation and have lost their last four League Two matches. They’ve conceded at least two goals in each of their last three matches and could find the hosts difficult to stop. Away from home, they’ve conceded eight times in their last four and Leyton Orient could rack up a few if they fancy it.
