Euro 2020 Warm-up Tips – 11/1 Accumulator from tonight’s friendly matches

We have more international friendly matches to get stuck into tonight including teams who are preparing for Euro 2020. The likes of Belgium and Ukraine are finalising their European Championships preparations and both are in action tonight, along with Switzerland and Turkey. All four sides are odds on to win their matches but as we saw last night with the Netherlands failing to beat Scotland and Germany failing to beat Denmark, nothing is certain in these friendly matches. Switzerland vs Liechtenstein 

Switzerland’s first match of Euro 2020 is against Wales in Group A and they will be expected to pick up an easy win tonight. The home side have won all 11 meetings between these two and it’s hard to see any other result tonight. The Swiss have won their last five matches including two World Cup 2022 qualifying games and a 3-0 Nations League win over Ukraine, so they’re in good form going into Euro 2020. Liechtenstein are one of Europe’s minnows and have conceded nine in their last two. Even though Switzerland boss Vladimir Petkovic will probably make some changes to his usual starting 11 for this one, they will be far too good for tonight’s opponents. Switzerland to score over 3.5 goals – 4/6 with Betfred.  

Turkey vs Moldova

Another team in Group A are Turkey and they have the honour of opening Euro 2020 with the first match of the tournament against Italy. They will be hopeful of getting out of Group A and are in decent form going into the tournament, losing just one of their last 12. They have drawn a lot of matches though, seven of them 12. Moldova haven’t won in 19 matches so this should be easy for Turkey on paper. The visitors lost 8-0 against Denmark recently and have conceded 28 goals in their last nine games. With a strong line-up selected, we’re expecting Turkey to dominate this match and put a few goals past a weat Moldova side. Turkey to win (-2 handicap) – 11/8 with Betfred.  

Ukraine vs Northern Ireland

Ukraine have drawn their last four matches 1-1, a quite remarkable run of results and they’ve not won in seven matches. They have a relatively easy group at Euro 2020 on paper, including North Macedonia, Austria and the struggling Netherlands, so they will want to get a win under their belts before the important matches start. Northern Ireland missed out on Euro 2020 in the play-offs and they will still be hurting from that. Since then, they have only won one of their last six matches and that was away at Malta. Ukraine are expected to play a strong team tonight after being heavily affected by COVID in past games, so the odds on offer could be appealing. Ukraine to win – 8/13 with Betfred.  

Belgium vs Greece

Belgium are one of the favourites to win Euro 2020 and the squad are in their prime right now, so anything less than a final appearance will be seen as a failure for Roberto Martinez. Romelu Lukaku is one of the best strikers in the world and he’ll be right up there in the Euro 2020 top goalscorer tips too. The Red Devils are unbeaten in their last 27 home matches, winning 22 of them, but they do concede goals. They’ve only kept two clean sheets in their last 10 and Greece have scored in five of their last six games, going unbeaten in their last eight. Belgium should be winning this match but Greece will fancy their chances of getting on the scoresheet. Both teams to score – Evens with Betfred.
