225/1 Saturday’s Bookings Accumulator – Four Picks for a Card Bet this Weekend

Bookings tips

Our Saturday’s booking tips come from two Championship matches and two games from north of the border in Scotland.

All the odds are from bet365 and if you bet on all four of them in an accumulator, you’d be looking at a massive 225/1 for all 4 players to get a card.

We’d recommend backing the multiples for the selections though, so do the doubles and trebles as well as the acca.

Saturday Cards Tips

  • Auston Trusty (vs Wigan) 4/1
  • Wes Harding (vs QPR) 9/2
  • Ryan Edwards (vs St Mirren) 11/4
  • Liam Donnolly (vs Ross County) 6/5

ODDS – 225/1 with bet365.

🟨Auston Trusty (Birmingham) to be carded v Wigan

The American centre-back has been a force so far in the Championship, he loves a tackle and the physical side of the game but is already showing signs of ill-discipline. He is averaging 2.3 fouls per game and 3.8 tackles per game.

This leaves him as joint highest for tackles and highest for fouls in this Birmingham side. He has also managed 2 yellows in 4 games already.

Wigan will cause plenty of problems for Trusty as each member of their forward quartet have the ability to cause problems and draw fouls. McClean, Lang, Keane and Magennis all avg at least 2 a game already.

I do envisage him finding himself in the book at some point in the 90.

🟨Wes Harding (Rotherham) to be carded v QPR

Harding has shown plenty in his games so far to suggest he will be combative in a game where QPR have players capable of making this tricky for the visitors.

With Tyler Roberts and Olamide Shidipo QPR have two ready-made players who will cause issues for Harding as he tries to get a grip and control the game from sitting in front of the back four. I would also add Lyndon Dykes into that aswell, he likes to hold the ball up and earn fouls up the pitch and is bang in Harding’s vision for the 90, he’s a handful and will have Harding forced to make decisions which I feel will go against him and his inexperience.

🟨Ryan Edwards (Dundee Utd) to be carded v St Mirren

I personally was at Tynecastle watching my own team Hearts take on Dundee Utd. One clear observation I made was a shaky back line for United and our selection was involved in any drama in the game. He’s a big presence and spent most his time putting his weight about off the ball and losing the plot at the referee for any and every decision going against him/his team.

He picked up a card last week and given Dundee Utd shipping 11 goals in 2 games they will be under the microscope again against St Mirren as the manager plays his former side. Greg Kiltie and Jonah Ayunga are the main assets for us both in the top 5 most players in the league drawing nearly 6 fouls a game between them.

🟨Liam Donnolly (Kilmarnock) to be carded v Ross County

Kilmarnock are still adapting to life in the top flight and they will be in for another tough game against Ross County. The highland side have had a number of changes to their attacking lineup and I’ve seen firsthand two players who cause a lot of problems for teams, Owura Edwards and Kazeem Olaigbe. Both are tricky, young, and have the pace to boot, Donnolly will be charged with taking the game by the scruff of the neck but tends to find himself making needless fouls which is getting him in trouble on a near-weekly basis. He has 2 cards in 3 games and is committing the most tackles of anyone in the side.
