Sky Sports’ pundit David Prutton has picked out his Football League predictions for this weekend including some Super 6 betting tips against Tommo. See Prutton’s predictions below and how you can bet on them in an accumulator.
The action starts tonight with Hull City vs Swansea City in the Championship live on Sky Sports, then tomorrow’s early kick-off is also live on Sky, between promotion-chasing West Brom and Nottingham Forest. That promises to be a great game as Forest look to close in on the automatic promotions places in the Championship.
Prutton has also predicted more struggles for Leeds this weekend as they look to hold onto second spot, and a win for Fulham as they also look to close the gap on Leeds and West Brom at the top.
See all of Prutton’s predictions for this weekend below and if you bet £10 on his accumulator with Betfred, you will get yourself a £30 free bet added to your new account.
Hull seem to be in free-fall at the minute. They were on a bad run before Kamil Grosicki and Jarrod Bowen left, now it looks like they have no confidence whatsoever.
Swansea have fallen off a bit, too. The arrivals of Conor Gallagher and Rhian Brewster haven’t quite inspired them so far. This could do either way, but I’ll narrowly back Hull.
Score Prediction: 1-1 draw (11/2 Betfred).
Prutton says: “West Brom are right back on it. Three wins on the spin, including in tough trips to Millwall and Reading, have sent them clear at the top.
Sabri Lamouchi essentially sacrificed the game against Charlton to prepare for this, which means the pressure is on to get a win here.”
Score Prediction: 2-1 (7/1 with Betfred)
Prutton says: “Birmingham are sneaking back up the table, having won three games in a row. They seem to be getting the best out of Scott Hogan, too. Brentford missed an opportunity against Leeds in midweek but are still right in the thick of the battle. Draw here for me.”
Score Prediction: 2-2 (12/1 with Betfred)
Prutton says: “Derby are fantastic at home and not so good away, so they will be delighted to be back at Pride Park on Saturday! Huddersfield are lacking consistency, which is why they are still languishing near the relegation zone. Home win.”
Score Prediction: 3-1 (14/1 Betfred)
Prutton says: “Fulham would have been frustrated to draw at Millwall in midweek, but it could have been a lot worse. Barnsley won this reverse fixture on the opening day, but haven’t had too much joy since. I can’t see them getting anything at Craven Cottage.”
Score Prediction: 2-0 (13/2 Betfred)
Marcelo Bielsa said he will stick with Kiko Casilla in goal, even though his confidence looks so low and he could probably do with being taken out of the firing line. Bristol City got a good win against Derby in midweek, and would snap your hand off for a draw at Elland Road.
Score Prediction: 1-1 draw (8/1 Betfred)
Middlesbrough vs Luton: 1-1
Preston vs Millwall: 2-1
Cardiff vs Wigan: 1-0
Charlton vs Blackburn: 1-1
QPR vs Stoke: 1-0
Sheffield Wednesday vs Reading: 0-1
Derby to win vs Huddersfield
Fulham to win vs Barnsley
Preston to win vs Millwall
Cardiff to win vs Wigan
QPR to win vs Stoke
Reading to win vs Sheffield Wednesday
To make this a more likely winner, I have left the draw selections out of this accumulator and just used the 3pm kick-offs for the bet. If all of Prutton’s teams to win selections are correct you would win £1450 from a £10 bet!
If would be a good idea to use a betting sign-up offer for this so you get a free bet back even if you lose, and you can get a £30 free bet at Betfred using the steps below.
