Weekend Championship Betting Tips – Saturday’s Best 5 Bets & 390/1 Accumulator

Swansea predictions

The Championship season continues this weekend and Reading are the surprise, early leaders. They’re six points ahead of Bournemouth but it is third place Swansea who kick-off our weekend Championship tips.

They host Blackburn at 3pm and we’ve picked an anytime goalscorer from that match. It’s the first leg of a mega accumulator tip from the second tier which also includes a draw for Sheffield Wednesday and away win for Watford.

See all the predictions below and how to add the Championship accumulator straight to your betting slip.

Rovers forward to score again

Swansea v Blackburn Rovers

Adam Armstrong to score anytime – 7/5 with Bet365.

Swansea picked up their 4th win of the campaign with a comfortable 2-0 home victory over Stoke in midweek and now welcome Blackburn to the Liberty Stadium in what promises to be an exciting encounter. Blackburn have scored the most goals in the Championship (18) and frontman Adam Armstrong has scored 50 percent of them. The former Newcastle striker is on a rich vein of form, despite scoring 2 goals against league leaders Reading last time out he still ended up on the losing side. Expect Adam Armstrong to score his 10th goal of the season this Saturday.

Bottom club Wednesday to pick up a point

Wycombe v Sheffield Wednesday

Draw – 5/2 with Bet365.

After 8 attempts Wycombe finally got their first point on the board when they held promotion favourites Watford to a 1-1 at Adams Park, Gareth Ainsworth will be hoping that valuable point will kick start their season. Sheffield Wednesday currently sit bottom of the league on -4 points and are in terrible run of form, they have lost 3 straight league games and have only picked up 1 win in their last 8 outings. Gareth Ainsworth will know this is a massive opportunity to build on their draw to Watford and playing on home soil could play a massive part here. Gary Monk will know his side must stop the rot and pick up at least a point in this fixture, expect both sides not to be separated after 90 minutes.

Bees striker to find the net once again

Luton v Brentford

Ivan Toney to score anytime – 11/10 with Bet365.

Luton picked up a 1-1 draw in midweek at home to Nottingham Forest, this result has taken them to 9th in the table on 13 points. After failing to win their last 2 games Brentford will be looking to get back to winning ways to push them up the table, they will once again be looking at hitman Ivan Toney to fire them to victory. The former Peterborough man has scored 8 goals in 8 Championship games, expect him to get on the scoresheet at Luton on Saturday.

Watford to edge to three points in Yorkshire

Barnsley v Watford

Watford to Win and Under 2.5 goals – 10/3 with Paddy Power.

New boss Valérien Ismaël got his first win in charge of Barnsley with a resounding 3-0 home win against QPR, this was also Barnsley’s first league win of the campaign. Vladimir Ivić would have been disappointed with their 1-1 draw at strugglers Wycombe in midweek and he’ll expect a reaction from his side when they travel to Barnsley on Saturday. Watford have seen under 2.5 goals in all 4 away league games played so far this season and expect the same against Barnsley. With the likes of Sarr, Joao Pedro and Deeney at Watford’s disposal, expect Valérien Ismaë’s side to have enough quality to collect all 3 points.

Lions looks a good price to pick up an entertaining win

Millwall v Huddersfield

Millwall to Win and BTTS – 4/1 with Bet365.

Gary Rowett is slowly building something special at Millwall, after just missing out the playoffs last season his side have got off to a fantastic start this season. They currently sit in 3rd place after 8 games with 15 points on the board. After a run of 4 games unbeaten Huddersfield have fallen to back to back defeats, they were first defeated by Preston 2-1 at home and fell to another 2-1 defeat away to Birmingham midweek. Huddersfield can’t seem to keep clean sheets of late and The Den is the last place you want to go when under the cosh, expect Millwall to take all 3 points in a narrow win.
