Manchester United vs Manchester City – 3 Special Bets to Place

The Manchester Derby takes place tonight and the game will go a long way to deciding the Premier League title – but do Manchester United fans want City or Liverpool to win the Premier League title?

Ahead of the match, we have found some special bets from bet365 which should keep the game interesting.

You need a bet365 account to bet on any of these selections but we’ve secured a great bet365 sign-up bonus for our readers, so get yourself an account and pick your bets for the Manchester Derby tonight.

Sergio Aguero to have Over 1.5 shots on Target

The first bet we’re going for tonight is surrounding Sergio Aguero – the Manchester City forward has already scored 19 Premier League goals this season and if Manchester United’s performance against Everton is anything to go by at the weekend, City could have a lot of chances tonight.

If Aguero has two or more shots on target tonight, this bet would be a winner. He averages 3.74 shots per game in the Premier League this season so hopefully he can get a couple on target tonight and land this first bet.

Raheem Sterling Over 0.5 Assists

The second bet for the Manchester Derby is going to be Raheem Sterling to get an assist tonight. He has been in fantastic form all season and currently has 17 goals to his name, but tonight we’re looking for an assist from the England winger. He’s also got nine assists to his name and the way Man City play, the wingers regularly put balls across the box for the likes of Sergio Aguero to slot home.

Sterling is often the player on the end of these flashes across the box but whoever plays on the other wing tonight will be waiting at the back post for crosses from Sterling’s side. If City get a few goals as expected tonight, Sterling to get an assist could be a good bet.

Man City Under 16.5 Tackles

Even though this is a Manchester derby, we’re going for unders in the tackles market. So far this season, Manchester City have made the fewest tackles in the Premier League (462), that is av average of 13.5 tackles per game. If they have a lot of the ball as we expect tonight, then there shouldn’t be many tackles from the City players, unless they’re breaking up the play with tactical fouls as Ole Gunner Solskjaer has claimed.
