League Two Betting Tips

 

Plymouth vs Mansfield – Plymouth Win

Plymouth have the second best form in the division across the last four matches and Ryan Lowe’s side have made a superb start to 2020. The Pilgrims have unearthed a goalscorer in Luke Jephcott and they’ve also added Ryan Hardie from Blackpool this week. They have won five of their last six with only leaders Swindon getting the better of them since early December. They’ve conceded just four times in six matches and they’ve also been in free-scoring form. Mansfield haven’t quite got going since Graham Coughlan arrived and plenty of January transfer activity is expected at the club over the next couple of weeks. They’ve lost three of their last four and conceded four times to low-scoring Forest Green last weekend. The Stags have won just once since late October and this will be tough for them.

 

Cambridge vs Stevenage – Under 2.5 Goals

Stevenage’s goalscoring woes continued this week as they drew yet another blank against Oldham in midweek. The strugglers are yet to score a goal in 2020 and have found the net just four times since October 19th. Whilst they’ve been poor in front of goal, they’ve been reasonably tight at the back and have conceded just four first half goals since mid-September. It will be difficult to Cambridge to break through and they must come up with something special in order to get past Graham Westley’s men. The U’s have failed to scored in three of their last five matches and come off the back of consecutive blanks. They’ve kept five clean sheets at home this season and this is likely to be another low-scoring tie.

 

Bradford vs Scunthorpe – Bradford Win

The Bantams need to bounce back following last week’s defeat to Crawley and they’ll be pleased to be back in West Yorkshire this weekend. They’ve been exceptional at home as they have conceded just eight times on their own patch. Despite some grumbles about the style of player under Gary Bowyer, they have become incredibly tough to beat and their mission to return to League One appears to be on track. They are facing a Scunny side who have dropped off in recent weeks. They’ve lost three of their last four matches and have conceded ten goals in their last five matches. Their only victory since Dec 21 came against lowly Oldham and they could struggle to find a way through here.
