Borussia Dortmund to beat Wolfsburg

The first selection is Dortmund to get another three points as they look to chase down Bayern Munich at the top of the table.

Fabio has previewed this match and here are his betting tips:

“The last time these two sides met in the league, Borussia Dortmund ran out 3-0 winners. They made light work of dispatching Schalke last week with a 4-0 win built on fast, incisive transitions and resolute defending. Schalke were restricted to few opportunities and it may be a similar story against Wolfburg this weekend.”

“Wolfsburg have scored just 36 goals in 26 league games. That tally is matched by 15^th placed Mainz and bested by sides in 10^th, 13^th and 14^th in the league so the stats point to another Dortmund clean sheet in this one, despite being away from home.”

 

Bayer Leverkusen to beat Borussia Monchengladbach

John has done the preview of this game and he’s going for a high scoring away win. For our accumulator tip, we just need a Leverkusen win, however it comes.

“Leverkusen’s form pre-lockdown their best of the season and they’ve continued that with their weekend victory. They find themselves just two points behind their Champions League-chasing opponents, Monchengladbach.”

“There was just one home league win over the weekend with the lack of home fans clearly playing some part. Given the reduced home advantage, Monchengladbach’s very impressive home form may count for little here. Leverkusen may just have enough firepower to get one over a Monchengladbach side with no clean sheets in their last eight games.”

Freiburg to beat Werder Bremen

The third selection for the Bundesliga accumulator tip this weekend is a Freiburg win against Werder Bremen. Here are our betting tips from the match preview:

“Before the Bundesliga suspension, Werder Bremen were struggling in the relegation zone and a 4-1 home defeat by Bayer Leverkusen last weekend was another setback. Defensive frailties evident in their latest home defeat have been prevalent for much of the current campaign.”

“Meanwhile, hosts Freiburg have defied the odds this term as they seek qualification for the Europa League. A 1-1 draw at Leipzig on the resumption of Bundesliga action underlined their qualities and they have won six league games at the Schwarzwald Stadion this season. Freiburg will start favourites for this match after beating both Eintracht Frankfurt, Wolfsburg and Leipzig on home soil earlier in the campaign.”

Hoffenheim to beat Paderborn

The last selection for the Saturday acca comes from the clash between bottom club Paderborn and ninth-placed Hoffenheim. Neither of these sides are in good form but Andy is going for a Hoffenheim victory here.

Both teams to score looks a banker bet in this one with that happening in Paderborn’s last seven matches but we are looking for a match-winner prediction here. Hoffenheim have picked up respectable points at Schalke and Borussia Monchengladbach in their last two away matches and another performance like that should see them get 3 points here.

Paderborn are bottom of the table, 10 points adrift of safety and 5 adrift of the play-off place. They drew 0-0 with Fortuna Dusseldorf last weekend but have lost their last fou matches at home.
