It’s been a decent start to the campaign for Simon Grayson and his Blackpool side are challenging at the right end of the table. The Seasider’s unbeaten run came to a halt at St.Andrews last weekend, as they conceded a late goal to Coventry. Admittedly, that was one of the club’s toughest games so far, and they will be glad to be back on the Fylde Coast this weekend. They’ve taken seven points from a possible nine at Bloomfield Road so far, and they’ve conceded just two goals in front of their own fans so far. Sullay KaiKai has been the star of the show so far, and his impressive double against Coventry further enhanced his reputation. He’s clearly enjoying his football, and he’s been linking up well with Liam Feeney (who looks rejuvinated this season). It’s just the ninth time that these two sides have met, with Blackpool preventing MK Dons from getting on the score-sheet in three of their last four meetings. Grayson also has a very good record against this opposition, losing just twice in 15 meetings with the Buckinghamshire outfit.

MK Dons were back to winning ways last weekend, beating AFC Wimbledon in front of the TV cameras. Paul Tisdale’s side have had a mixed campaign since being promoted, but they’ve lost each of their two away games so far. They took the lead against Accrington, but were defeated 2-1 at the Crown Ground. The hosts hit the woodwork, and missed a penalty in that game, with the Dons struggling to cope with the oppositions pace. They haven’t kept a clean sheet since August 10th, and they could find Blackpool’s frontline a lively prospect. They have lost eight of their last 13 away games, but have been victorious in the other five. The Dons should comfortably finish mid-table this season, and they do have a number of talented players in their side. Kieran Agard looks to be a real handful whilst Rhys Healey will grab goals at this level.
The Dons have only played two away games so far, and they’ve lost both of those ties. They’re conceding goals on the road, and it’s hard to make a case for them here. Blackpool are now winless in four, although they have only lost one of those games. The Tangerine Army have plenty of firepower, and the reinvigorated home crowd should help push them forward. Grayson’s men won’t be too dispirited by that last-gasp defeat to Coventry, and they should be able to bounce back here. Blackpool are 21/20 with Bet Victor, and that is the best option here.
Armand Gnandouillet has been prolific so far, but it’s Sullay KaiKai’s goals which have made the headlines so far. The former Crystal Palace man is catching the eye with his performances, and he could make the difference in this tie. He’s 23/10 to score anytime in this clash, and that looks terrific value.
