Championship Betting Tips – 15/1 Accumulator for Saturday’s 3pm Kick-offs

QPR betting tips

There are no less than 12 Championship matches taking place on Saturday 28th August but we are going to focus on the 3pm kick-offs to take a look at the stats so far this season and pick out a bet from a few of those games.

Fulham, West Brom and Stoke are all setting the pace at the top of the table, all with 10 points after four games and Fulham play Stoke in one of the 3pm kick-offs this weekend.

Elsewhere, struggling Sheffield United travel to Luton Town and Derby and Nottingham Forest contest the local derby at 12.30pm.

Check out some key stats for this weekend’s Championship fixtures and our best betting tips for the matches.

Huddersfield vs Reading – BTTS

Both teams have scored in four of Huddersfield’s five matches so far this season.

They conceded 16 shots against Sheffield United last weekend and would have lost the match if Sheff Utd had any strikers that could score goals.

Reading have also seen both teams score in four of their five matches so far this season (BTTS has landed in all four league matches).

Against Coventry on Saturday, Reading conceded a massive 25 shots and xG of 2.15.

This should be a match with lots of shots on target and as long as the forwards can put the ball in the net, a few goals too.

Both teams to score (10/11 with MansionBet).

Hull vs Bournemouth – Bournemouth to win

Hull have failed to score in their last three league matches, conceding six goals and losing all three games.

Their xG against Fulham was 0.32, 0.44 vs Derby and 1.38 vs QPR, despite failing to score.

Bournemouth let a 2-0 lead slip against Blackpool last weekend after being in complete control of the match.

They’ve scored exactly two goals in each of their league matches so far this season and Hull’s lack of fire power means two more should be enough here.

They were thrashed in midweek against Norwich but that was the League Cup so we’re happy to put a line through that form.

Bournemouth to win (23/20 with 888Sport).

Millwall vs Blackpool – BTTS

Both teams have scored in all six of Millwall’s matches in the Championship and League Cup so far this season.

This run includes scoring against both Fulham and Cardiff – things should be easier against a leaky Blackpool side.

The Tangerines scored two at Bournemouth last weekend in a creditable 2-2 draw.

They’ve scored in both away matches so far this season and lost 3-2 in a League Cup game against Sunderland in midweek.

Both teams to score (Evens with 888Sport)

QPR vs Coventry – Over 2.5 goals

QPR are averaging 5.8 shots on target per match so far this season, the third-highest in the Championship.

Over 2.5 goals has happened in their last three Championship fixtures now.

Coventry are also high in the shots on target stats, having 20 so far (average of 5.0 shots per game), the sixth highest in the league.

Their latest match against Reading did go over 2.5 goals and looking at the QPR stats in particular, this one could go the same way.

Over 2.5 goals (11/10 with Betfred)
