FC Koln vs Borussia Dortmund – Dortmund Win and Over 1.5 Goals

Dortmund conceded after 31 seconds last weekend, but Lucien Favre’s men came roaring back, and won the game 5-1. With Bayern slipping up on the opening weekend, Dortmund will sense their chance to pull further ahead in this Friday night contest. FC Koln are back in the top flight, but they made hard work of their promotion campaign last season. Koln lost 2-1 at Wolfsburg last week, and they will be hoping to create plenty of chances, and test a shaky-looking Dortmund back-line. Games between these sides tend to be entertaining, with Dortmund winning 5-0 at Signal Iduna Park and scraping a 3-2 victory when they last met in 2018. Dortmund looked ruthless going forward last weekend, and Paco Alcacer is likely to be heavily involved once again. Koln will give as good as they’ve got, and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see them get on the scoresheet. Dortmund should have too much for their opponents, and it should be an entertaining contest.

 

Genk vs Anderlecht – Genk Win

It has been an extremely poor start for Vincent Kompany at Anderlecht with the former Manchester City captain struggling to get a tune out of his side. They’ve picked up just two points from four matches, and Belgian pundits have been very critcial of his style. Anderlecht have scored just three times in four matches, and they are also shipping goals left, right and centre. Their 4-2 loss at Kortrijk was arguably the worst defeat of his brief tenure, and he needs to turn things around quickly. Unfortunately for Kompany, his side face a tough test at Genk this weekend, and the hosts have a good record against Anderlecht. They’ve won each of their last three meetings here, and they should have too much once again. They haven’t been foot-perfect, but they were back to winning ways seven days ago, and they should find plenty of joy against this questionnable Anderlecht back-line.

NAC Breda vs Cambuur – NAC Breda Win

NAC Breda may have been relegated back to the second tier this summer, but they’ve started brilliantly, and look set to be in the promotion shake-up once again. It’s still early days, but the hosts have scored seven goals, and conceded just a single strike so far. They hit five past Helmond last weekend, and are firing on all cylinders at the moment. Cambuur are likely to be hovering around mid-table once again, but they could struggle to contain Breda’s firepower. They beaten on the road by De Graafschaap two weeks ago (another recently relegated side), but they did batter Go Ahead Eagles at home last Friday. They won just one of their last five away fixtures at the end of the 2018-19 campaign, and they’ve only won of their last four visits to this ground.

 

Den Bosch vs FC Eindhoven – FC Eindhoven Win

The last of our accumulator tips is an away win, which will help ramp up the odds. FC Eindhoven have achieved back-to-back victories which is in direct contrast to their disappointing end to last season. They beat NEC on the road, which is no easy feat, before smashing five past lowly Dordrecht last week. Den Bosch were promotion candidates last season, but a number of personnel changes haven’t helped matters, and they’ve made a slow start to this campaign. They failed to beat a Jong PSV side, who spent the last 30 minutes with ten men, and then slipped to a terrible 1-0 defeat at home to Telstar. It’s all been very disappointing so far, and they could find FC Eindhoven far too confident for them here.
