What Is the Betfred Nifty Fifty?
The Nifty Fifty is a 50-ball lottery game exclusive to Betfred. Five draws are held every day, making it one of the most frequent lotto games available in the UK. You select numbers from 1 to 50, place your stake, and if your numbers match the drawn results you win at the fixed odds shown below.
The top prize is £5,000,000 if you match all six numbers in the 6-ball draw. Even matching just one number in the 6-ball draw pays £7 from a £1 stake, so there are prizes at every level.
How Does Nifty Fifty Work?
You can bet on anything from 1 to 5 numbers at fixed odds. All your numbers must be drawn for a straight bet to win. For example, a £1 bet on 3 numbers requires all 3 to be drawn.
You can also play multiple bet types on the Nifty Fifty – doubles, trebles, Trixie, Patent, Lucky 15, Lucky 31 or Canadian. These work the same way as horse racing multiples, meaning not all your numbers need to come out for you to win something. The more permutations, the higher the cost. For example, picking 6 numbers and playing doubles creates 15 combinations – meaning your bet costs 15 times your unit stake.
There is also a lucky dip option if you do not want to pick your own numbers – Betfred will randomly select them for you.
