Over 2.5 Goals Betting Tips

 

SPAL vs AC Milan – Serie A

SPAL have absolutely nothing left to play for this season, but they’ve been excellent entertainment in recent weeks. They’re guaranteed another season in the Italian top flight, and will be looking to end the season on a positive note.

They’ve netted in each of their last seven matches here, a run which includes a 2-1 defeat to Napoli, and 2-1 victories over Roma and Juventus. Although motivation may not be as high this time around, they are unlikely to roll over and simply let AC Milan score at will.

The visitors will be hoping to pick up maximum points, as they can still finish in third place. There is extra motivation owing to the fact that they can still finish above rivals Inter (depending on their result).

Milan’s away form has been patchy, and this isn’t really the idea fixture for Gattusso’s men, but they simply need the points, and they’ve only failed to score five times on the road. It ended 2-1 at the San Siro, and 0-4 the last time they met at this ground. We’re hoping the trend the Over 2.5 Goals in this fixture continues on Sunday.

Yeni Malatyaspor vs Buraspor – Turkish Super Lig

We’re off to the top flight of Turkey for our second betting tip on Sunday afternoon. Buraspor are the favourites for this game because they need to win at all costs in order to fend off relegation, but it won’t be easy against a side who have been free-scoring at home recently.

The good news for the away side (and goals backers) is that the hosts have two of their key defenders missing here.

The hosts have had an up and down season, but there’s a reason why they sit in fifth place, and that’s because they score goals. They’ve netted ten times in their last five matches, and even though there is little to play for other than pride here, they will want to go out with a victory in front of the home fans.

Buraspor are in big danger of dropping out of the top flight, and have struggled with goals this season. Having said that, they do play decent counter-attacking football at times, and they will be keen to take a similar approach against a side who have kept just eight clean sheets all season.

It ended 2-4 here last season, and although a similar outcome is unlikely, we should expect three goals in this one.

Fenerbahce vs Antalyaspor – Turkish Super Lig

We’re sticking with the Turkish top flight for our third betting tip on Sunday, with this mid-table clash between two sides who have been creating plenty of entertainment recently.

Fener have been excellent going forward, particularly at home, and they’ve scored nine times in their last five matches here. However, their defence continually lets them down, and they’ve not kept a clean sheet in any of those outings. Feb 1st was the last time, a side failed to score at this ground.

The visitors have been safely entrenched in mid-table for quite some time, and they’ve had a mixed bag of results recently. On the road, they’ve been a little generous, and have conceded 14 goals in their last four outings.

This is a match between two sides who struggle at the back, but do possess decent attacking options.

It ended 4-1 the last time they faced one another at this ground, and this bet would have landed in each of Antalyaspor’s last five away games.

Tromso vs Molde – Norwegin Eliteserien

Our final betting tips comes from Norway in which top plays bottom.

Molde have had an excellent start to the season, and they are scoring goals for fun. They come off the back of a 5-1 win at home to mid-table Viking, and they’ll be confident of taking all three points as they travel north.

Tromso sit at the foot of the table, and they typically make it tough for visiting teams, but they just seem to have relatively soft centre this campaign.

They have found the net in three of their opening four home matches, and they did also score against Stromsgodset last weekend, but their defence has been breached far too often.

Three of their four home defeats have ended 1-2, and with Molde in terrifyingly good form, they are liable to concede at least a couple here.

Each of the last four meetings between these sides has ended with three or more goals, and the visitors have netted eight times in their last four away trips.
