The hosts got off to a great start with a 3-0 win over Bolivia but then were held to a shock draw against Venezuela in the second group game. Normal service was resumed in their last match though, running out 5-0 winners against Peru to secure top spot in the group and on paper at least, one of the easier ties of the first knockout round. Brazil are without Neymar for this tournament but that doesn’t seem to be effecting them too much – they’re yet to concede in the tournament and have already scored eight times.

Paraguay can count themselves lucky that the format of the Copa America allows teams go to through despite only collecting two points in the tournament. They did however, hold Argentina to a 1-1 draw, but lost 1-0 to Colombia in a difficult group. Los Guaranies will be all too aware of the task in hand here and it is hard to see them troubling Tite’s side tonight.
